Unraveled Wednesday

My green sweater has had a soak and is drying. One last step will be to pick up stitches for the front band and collar. In the meantime, I have acquired yarn for another sweater! Hope to swatch and practice short rows this weekend.

I did not manage to get a cover all in Summer Book Bingo but I am happy with how many orange squares are filled in. Best summer reading in a very long time.

Now that we are back to school, afternoons with the tiny person will be more regular. A few hours between oak and dinner are a great way to balance the day. He is standing and crawling and such a happy guy. Grampa calls him the two hour tornado! Yesterday I gave him a doll that his momma had as a toddler. He loved the eyes and gave her many kisses.

Happy Wednesday and thanks to Kat for hosting us.

  1. YAY for all those books – I’m delighted you played and read along! Your little person reminds me a lot of mine. I think they’re kind of two MINUTE tornados!

  2. When my son was a little guy, we used to say that he had two speeds: Fast and Fast Asleep! Your tiny person sounds like a delight to have around — and I’m glad you get more regular time with him. XO

  3. Love the photo of the baby with Mama’s doll baby. Cute. Congrats on your Bingo…there’s still all the time in the world to carry on with it! That’s what I plan to do.

  4. Yes, YAY for all those books! And, I laughed when I read the “two hour tornado” and laughed harder at ‘two minute tornadoes” and my thought was boy, 2 seconds sometimes is all it takes! LOL
