#turnthelensonself – 4

e·qui·lib·ri·um

ˌēkwəˈlibrēəm,ˌekwəˈlibrēəm/

noun -a state in which opposing forces or influences are balanced.

I added this word to my “good words” list about 6 weeks ago when I was

struggling to find balance in the midst of feeling so poorly. I was thrilled to see

this word in Michelle’s morning email. And because it is Thursday, here are

three ways I am inviting equilibrium into my life.

  1. Nice post! I was “feeling” my yoga practices yesterday, so mid=afternoon fixed a cup of green tea to which I added turmeric and ginger, and a bit of honey. Very warming and delicious!

  2. I really need to try a “green drink.” I love fresh fruits and vegetables, and eat them on the regular. I just haven’t been able to get past the notion of DRINKING them! Do you have a favorite “recipe” or combination that you might recommend for a late-adapter???? 🙂

  3. We had green juice for breakfast last week and it was … wonderful! Maybe you can give me some tips for bringing that vacation treat home. (also – nice manicure!)

  4. My trainer just sent me a bunch of information on super foods and eating – I cannot wait to read up on his knowledge and adopt it for myself. I love that you are always supporting your health through food!!

  5. Eating healthy can be a challenge if one has fallen into the other direction. I have been thinking about adding a green drink in the morning. I love fruit so I don’t think it would be hard coming up with a delicious recipe….
