We passed the halfway mark for the #100dayproject this week! And to be honest, there have been a few days when I have not picked up my pen or needles but in the spirit of the project, I am letting this be a part of the learning process.

Today I am using Kym’s fun Friday prompt:

Thinking about these Lime Bikes and wondering about the riders who are using them. They sure are popping up in some peculiar places.

Grateful for an extra day added to the holiday weekend – a snow day that we didn’t need to use!

Interested in this knitting project. Mary and Kat did this last year. I am going to swatch this weekend.

Fun ahead. There is some sunshine in the forecast and a new barbecue on the way so there will be reading on the deck and grilling this weekend.

Happy Friday!

  1. Oh good luck with your swatching! and the sun … and the grilling … have a wonderful weekend!

  2. I always wonder about those bikes, too. Although we don’t have Lime Bikes out here. . . ours are a light blue color and I can’t remember what they’re called. In Chicago last week, we saw one loooong rack of empty spots — with only a couple of bikes available. We wondered where they were . . .
(I tried the #100Days project last year, but had a really hard time sticking with it. I learned a lot from that alone!) 🙂

  3. We have bikes of all colors all around…apparently one pays so much for the ride and when the money runs out, the bike stops and you either cough up more $$$ or walk…eventually, someone else “pays for the ride”or the company picks it up. Interesting concept…I think the real value of the #100 Day Project is creating and/or strengthening habits. I have one in process , i.e., about to start in a couple days…
