In the kitchen

It has been awhile since I have been excited to cook and meal prep. Later this week I am going to a cooking class but I found this book at my library and I am trying out some new meal ideas. I have also enjoyed reading about Ayurveda and Dosha body types.

Spring is coming – I’m sure it is- so it seems like a good time to shake up my meals.

I have cooked and prepped my meals for the next few days. It was pretty easy since I had everything on hand for the recipes. And my house smells wonderful (think cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, and ginger)!

Happy Monday.

  1. I am closing my eyes and thinking about how amazing your house must have smelled! And, I really love shaking up our eating regime – food you don’t usually eat, is most satisfying!

  2. Yummmmm! I generally love to cook, and look forward to making dinner most nights. That said, I get really . . . bored . . . by it all whenever the seasons change — and my tastes change. I think a new cookbook might help me shake things up a bit — and bring some excitement back to cooking dinner! 🙂

  3. It feels great when meals are planned, prepped and cooked! I made breakfast burritos and put them in the freezer yesterday. Did I want to do it? Not really. But future me will be glad I did!

  4. So, where are you taking the cooking lessons? You told about the spices, but what were you making, and let us know how it/they turned out and tasted, OK?

  5. Wow, Juliann – this sounds like it’s fun, smells great … and it’s good for you at the same time. win-win-win! (and happy Monday!)
