Hello Monday

“Breaking a pattern is never easy, but I’m determined not to go back to the way I was. I’m determined to move forward with focus, ease and this new feeling of calmness that has eluded me most, if not all, of my life.”

Sunday morning I read these words in Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper. Yes please. Focus. Ease. Calmness. I will take a dose of each. I rolled out my yoga mat and did some stretching. I’m ready for Robin Long’s 10 day challenge. Best of all I am ready for my first four day work week (and trying hard not to plan anything’s for this first week).

  1. oh YAY for a 4-day week! and focus … and yep, I’m excited, too, about Robin’s challenge. I think I last did a Pilates workout in July!

  2. four day work week? that sounds delightful! I dropped to one day of babysitting instead of two days and it’s been perfection. I have a 1/2 hour commute one way since they moved last fall and that was too much along with a full day of babysitting.

  3. I am about to head to my mat with you and Robin as well! There is a lovely camaraderie that is seeping through this… in our miles apart spaces, we are participating in the same activity! That makes me smile – and is so incredibly encouraging!

    May your 4-day week be most amazing!
