30 days of thankful 2020 – #7

One reason I am thankful for blogging is the community and all the resources we share. Sarah mentioned listening to knitting podcasts so I asked her for recommendations. I used to listen to knitting podcasts but so many went to YouTube or stopped podcasting. I am so happy I asked because one podcast that I used to love has restarted. Brenda Dayne has just a few new episodes of Cast On but what a wonderful thing. I loved listening to her talk about craft space organizing.

The other podcast Sarah mentioned is Yarns at Yin Hoo. I listened to an older episode today and I think I will like this one too.

I know all the hurdles are not out of the way yet but life is feeling much lighter today.

  1. I am so glad you enjoyed these two podcasts! After seeing your comment, Mary asked if I might consider doing a blog post about the podcasts I listen to, so I’ll have some more recommendations soon.

  2. If you’re cold put on a sweater, that’s what they’re for 🙂 (I am also looking forward to checking out Yarns at Yin Hoo)

  3. I also enjoy Two Ewes Fiber Adventures – a podcast about knitting, spinning, a little weaving, a little beekeeping, and some dog training. Good quality sound and interesting discussion. They are also thoughtful about the effect of their making on the environment.
