30 days of thankful 2020 – #8

I wrote about the house block swap a few months ago. I finally got around to mailing my blocks out last week – probably the one task I put on my to do list that actually got done! This weekend, a few of my quilting buddies stopped by for an outside, social distance meet-up and they delivered some of the swap blocks. I still have another 8 blocks coming and I will make some more and then the fun of figuring out the design will begin.

I am so grateful to all my creative friends and being able to share that creativity. Quilter’s, knitters, readers, people who love paper. All good things.

  1. This quilt is going to be so amazing — not just visually but emotionally, as I’m sure you’ll have good thoughts associate with all the squares coming from others!

  2. ok, I love all the different styles … were you expecting all the different shapes? my tiny brain is having trouble imagining a quilt!

  3. All the variation in the house blocks is going to make a charming whimsical quilt. Pretty appropriate for this pandemic time when we are all spending a lot of time at home.
