30 days of thankful 2020 -#10

From Where to Begin by Cleo Wade

I am so thankful that my library is offering curbside pick up because I don’t think I would have enjoyed this book as much in digital form. It is a small book, a poem actually, and the handwritten pages helped me slow down and pay attention. Before returning the book, I took some photos of some of the pages because I want to remember these words. I think the words above are especially important right now and I will be thinking a lot about how I can be a part of the solutions.

  1. Hooray for libraries finding solutions to get books in the hands of people who love them despite a pandemic!

  2. oooh, I love books with handwriting! …of course my library doesn’t have it, AND I got to use the new website to request the title (it worked great)!

  3. I will keep my eyes open for that book, and thank-you for the recommendation. Over here, all library requests are currently on hold, but if you let them know the kind of genres you like, the librarians will put a book bag (six books) together for you to collect at the door … Being part of a solution sounds very positive.
