30 days of thankful 2020 – #24

Have I mentioned that I am a thankful for my library? It was so fun to pick up this stack of books. Dreams are waiting for me inside the covers. I am making lots of lists right now. And I am still doing clean up work. Garden clean up, especially in a space that has been neglected, can take some time. I keep an eye out the window for breaks in the weather when I can get a bit more digging or raking done. I am also building a list of things I need like mud boots, better gloves, and a second pair of gardening pants. I am still hoping that I can get the posts in before the weather gets really cold. I need to build a better fence around my beds and I don’t want to be sidetracked by frozen ground. Stay tuned for more garden planning posts.

  1. Oh, what FUN! 🙂 My gardening is pretty much finished for the year, although – like you – I do look for breaks in the weather to get out and do a little more of this or that. For me, here in this cold part of the world, my “gardening” for the next several months will mainly involve lists and books! Happy inspiration, Juliann.

  2. I envy all the time you will spend looking through those books, getting inspired, and coming up with plans — sometimes I think the imagining and planning is almost better than the real thing because of all the endless possibilities!

  3. I love this dreaming time of year for the garden. It’s also an opportunity for me to do those ‘less fun’ chores that I get distracted from when more colorful garden chores can be had 🙂 Enjoy your library loot!

  4. Good luck with your gardening – and hooray for the library and all the inspiration that can be found there!
