30 days of thankful 2020- #30

Well, here we are, at the end of November, the last of my 30 days of thankful posting. I honestly didn’t mean to write for 30 days – not until I started that first post. But I am so thankful for starting and finishing. I am a great starter but not much of a finisher. There are numerous groups and activities at church that I started and then handed off to someone else to continue. I have been contemplating this in my morning pages. I do a great job finishing things for others, things I have offered or agreed to do. But for myself, I am more likely to set things aside (in true Enneagram 2 form). It was with some trepidation that I created this Advent notebook last week. But I am hopeful that I can put pen to paper (hopefully my fountain pen) and do a bit of memory keeping for the next 25 plus days.

Thank you for reading along and for all the lovely comments. Again and again I am most grateful for your words.

  1. Ditto Carole and Sarah … and thank YOU for the inspiration. Two days into Tsh’s Advent I am enjoying the “holding it loosely” and music. Advent playlists are my new-favorite!

  2. I loved all 30 of your posts this month! Thank you for writing them and reminding me how much I have to be grateful for.

I have a confession: I know nothing about Advent! I’m not sure how that’s possible and yet – there’s so much in life to learn 🙂 Your pretty notebook makes me want to know more.

  3. I am late, and seem to have missed your posts this month, for which I am really sorry. I don’t know why they didn’t show up in my reader :(. Your notebook is restive and full of promise, and I hope that it becomes a lovely record of this month. Any time I have been consistent in following through on a project, I have never regretted it :).
