3 things plus a few more

I love the 21 in 21 lists but I wanted a bingo card so I needed a few more to make the layout work. I color coded my card and have finished one square and made good progress on two more. So here are three things I am working on:

1 – Embroidery project – This is the rabbit hole I fell into over the weekend. Then I found #52tagshandmade on Instagram. A bit of searching yielded some amazing inspiration. I found this wonderful YouTube channel. I am not sure if I will make the tags but I know this will be a great source for my Embroidery Project square.

2. Knit mittens – I already had a good start on these. I finished two cuffs but needed to wait for larger double pointed needles to finish. My needles arrived and I am almost finished with one mitten. Hope to have a pair before we say hello to February. Mitten knitting is inspired by the mitten kal hosted by @Heybrownberry and @earthtonesgirl on Instagram.

3. Learn how to make dairy free cheese – I took an online class this week that will help me with this project. The class was done by a local store that has a great cooking school program. I have taken many classes over the years and was excited to try out their online offerings. Now I just need to find a few ingredients and I will be making DF cheese soon.

I have made good progress on assembling my Wonky Houses and I finished that flannel tunic top last weekend. I have also cast on the pullover from stash and should be at the sleeve divide soon. Other items will need to wait until we are able to move about more freely or until the weather warms. I am pretty excited about this bingo card.

Now, off to link up with Carole and friends.

  1. I love anything color coded – but THIS especially makes my heart happy – thank you for sharing it! There’s so much here – I hope you share your finished tunic and the results of your DF cheese.

  2. Making a bingo card is such a good idea! Now I’m wishing I’d thought of it.

I hope you’ll share more about your cheese making. I have no idea what you have to use to make dairy-free cheese, so I’m intrigued!

  3. I’ve never heard of DF Cheese. What is it made from? Inquiring minds and all that… Love your Bingo card – great idea and so pretty with the colors.

  4. Oh my GOODNESS!!! I love your BINGO card–what a great idea! This, to me, feels even different than the ’21 list concept. I feel like I can pull out the old BUJO method of ‘forwarding’ something with a > mark. But I never want to leave a BINGO square unmarked. This is going to be fun!

  5. I’ve never seen a craft bingo card before…how very brilliant to get you out of your comfort zone!!! Good luck with that DF cheese!!! So many ideas….do we really have enough time??? What were we thinking at the beginning of the covid shut down when we complained of nothing to do?!? (Actually, that wasn’t me….I can always find something fun to do, and it doesn’t sound like you either!!!!!) Good luck, too, with the mitts.

  6. What a fun way to track those making projects! and I’m impressed with how much progress you’ve already made! can’t wait to see the mittens. and maybe you can inspire me to get my sewing machine out again (or maybe it’s just going to take Spring!)

  7. A bingo card will be a great visual for tracking your projects. Oh that youTube channel on embroidery. I think I will be following you down the rabbit hole.

  8. What a great way to show your plans, and you will have fun along the way. I like the way you show things like new skills, or the need to buy materials. I look forward to watching progress.
