hello May

Last night I kept thinking, May is going to be a great month. I don’t know why that was playing over in my head but I am going with it. I refreshed a few times and then took the plunge and printed my Summer Bingo card. I actually copied and pasted it into a word document so I can add titles as I finish but I am pretty excited about this card. When Mary told me about some of the new categories, I was hoping to get at least one or two. This card has a lot of boxes that I know I will be able to check. My secondary goal is to read from my shelves or the library for this entire card. Fortunately, I picked up a copy of The Well-Gardened Mind last week and I am hoping this will be a buddy read. I know that Carolyn and Katie have this book on their list. Anyone else?

Book bingo begins Memorial Day weekend and I have a few books to finish up before I start on my summer list. First I need to get out for a longish walk as I start on another walking challenge – stay tuned for more details on that one.

Happy weekend, happy new month.

  1. That lower left square is the one you suggested! I think this is going to be a great summer of books and reading!

  2. I love reading that your hopeful about May. I’m hopeful in general these days, what a good (and unusual!) feeling. Enjoy your walks!

  3. I’m still waiting for my copy to come in…meanwhile, I’m celebrating some little-gotten rain today! Happy walking, Juliann. (Spring walks are so rewarding.)

  4. Your Bingo card looks interesting – will look forward to seeing it “flesh out.” I’m thinking SBB (summer book bingo) will also make it into Daily Pages… Read on!

  5. I’d love to join you for a buddy read! I’ve never done one before and have to be honest: I’m the worst book club member ever. But for you, Juliann, I am willing to try!! 🙂
